Access to quality research and support

Our scientific and technical initiatives are designed to provide the best science for the support and protection of public health relating to food safety and diet related issues.

A food safety information infrastructure is being developed through formulating and implementing measures for increased surveillance, fostering linkages with and between labs, and commissioning and supporting research activities where knowledge gaps are identified.

Our specialised and expert team of scientists with our Scientific Advisory Committee allow us to provide advice on food safety issues.
