Communications strategy

Informing and educating the public on food safe issues is a central function of safefood’s role. This is achieved through a mix of communications initiatives which are designed to reach both the general public and safefood’s other constituent groups.

safefood uses several complimentary media; TV, radio and print advertising as well as distributing factsheets and flyers and creating events and network opportunities.
